One of my Favorite Films for Shooting in a Dark Cave by Grant Brittain January 18, 2021 This photo of Jason Lee at the Münster Monster Mastership contest in 1990 was shot with Kodak Tmax 3200. The venue in Münster, Germany is a dark cave and there is not much "natural" light going on. It is lit by what looks like dim chandeliers and soaks up light like a black hole. Back in 1990, we would pop a roll of 3200 isa/iso film into the Nikon FM-2 and push it to 6400 or more and pull out enough light to shoot at 1/500th of a second. It would be a lot easier in the modern day with digital, but we dealt with what we had. I loved the grain too. Share Share on Facebook Tweet Tweet on Twitter Pin it Pin on Pinterest
