I am often asked if I still take photos since the two Print magazines I worked for are either out of business or solely online. I usually laugh, because I know I am quite busy navigating the modern Photography world. I am a Photographer, not just a Skateboard Photographer. I live and breathe Photography, it inhabits my soul, it is my creative outlet, I will do it until my last day. I fill my life with taking photos, looking at photos, archiving and scanning my photos, reading articles and books, watching and listening to photographic interviews and how-to's, going to exhibits and museums, taking workshops, working on my exhibits and slideshows, providing my photography to outside magazine, book, podcast, film, and gallery projects. At 71 years old, I need this busy-ness, it makes me whole. When your job is your hobby, it is impossible to retire.
