Steve Caballero Unpublished Frontside Invert on Chin Ramp Spine

Steve Caballero Unpublished Frontside Invert on Chin Ramp Spine

Regular price $200.00 Sale

This frame of Steve Caballero is on a contact sheet I hadn't seen in years and it has never been published, I got the roll of film back yesterday. In 1986, I was fortunate enough to have been the skateboard photographer shooting photos of the Bones Brigade at the Chin Ramp during the filming of "The Search for Animal Chin." I spent several days with Stacy Peralta and Craig Stecyk while they directed and filmed Bones Brigaders, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Mike McGill, Tommy Guerrero, Steve Caballero, and Lance Mountain in a field in Oceanside, California. I was able to snap this photo of Caballero, frontside handplanting the spine. The elaborate ramp was torn down a few days after this and the rest is history.

12 x 16", 16x20", and 18x24" on luster paper (between glossy and matte).

Made to order, signed by me in black Micron in the lower right (in the white border), and shipped in an apocalypse-proof cardboard tube.
