Bones Brigade 2016 Chin Ramp Inverts Redux Woodward

Bones Brigade 2016 Chin Ramp Inverts Redux Woodward

Regular price $200.00 Sale

The Chin Ramp was rebuilt in 2016, and the Bones Brigade did the Inverts again, 30 years after the first time! I captured this photo at Camp Woodward in California of McGill, Caballero, Mountain, and Hawk replicating the trick from 1986.

I was fortunate in 1986 to have been the skateboard photographer shooting photos of the Bones Brigade at the Chin Ramp during the filming of "The Search for Animal Chin." I spent several days with Stacy Peralta and Craig Stecyk while they directed and filmed Bones Brigaders Tony Hawk, Mike McGill, Tommy Guerrero, Steve Caballero, and Lance Mountain in a field in Oceanside, California. I was able to snap this photo of McGill, Caballero, Mountain, and Hawk all handplanting the spine in unison on the last day of shooting. The elaborate ramp was torn down the next day and the rest is history. This photo was shot in September of 2016 when the ramp was replicated.

12x16, 16x20, and 18x24" luster paper (between glossy and matte).
Made to order, signed by me in black Micron in the lower right (in the white border) and title, "The Bones Brigade," on left, and shipped in an apocalypse-proof cardboard tube.
