Christian Hosoi BS Layback Board Slide, Upland Pipeline, 1985

This skate photo is of Christian Hosoi, one of the most stylish skateboarders of all time, doing a backside layback board slide. It was shot in 1985 during the Variflex Pro contest at Upland's Pipeline skatepark. This is a unique slice of 80s skateboarding history. I shot it on a Nikon FM2 with Kodak Tri-X black and white negative film. Remember film?
