I shot this photo of Steve Alba, Salba, in the full pipe at Upland's Pipeline Skatepark in the late 1980s. He is compressed into the ceiling of the pipe at 11 o'clock. Salba is definitely one of the best full pipe skaters in the world and is still going strong today at over 50 years old. I shot this with a Nikon FM2 and a 16mm fisheye lens and Fuji Velvia film.
16"x22" approximate image size on 18"x24" luster(between glossy and matte).
(The real print is rectangular and has a white border all around.)
