I shot this skate photo of Christian Hosoi in the 1980s doing his signature move, the Christ Air, at the Perfect Ramp in Mesa, Arizona, with a Nikon FM2 and 16mm Nikkor fisheye lens. Christian came up with this trick and dubbed it with his name; it has become a classic. This was way before digital photography and Photoshop, so my exposure and lighting had to be spot on.
12x16, 16x20, 18x24 on luster paper. Luster is the finish style between glossy and matte. The image is approximately 2 inches smaller all the way around.
The photo is made to order and signed by me in black Micron pen in the lower right and with the title of the photo in the lower left in the white border and shipped in a thick as a brick cardboard tube.
Shipping cost appears in the cart before payment. If you choose more than one item, any extra paid on shipping will be refunded at the time of shipment. Foreign buyers pay customs in their countries. Sales tax is charged in California only.
